Casa Azahara was taken over in 2004 by Dougie and Fiona Gilmore from Edinburgh , who offer more than just clean and comfortable accommodation in their beautifully renovated town house in Competa.

Whether it be one room for one night or a private apartment on a short lease, everyone is assured a warm welcome at Casa Azahara. If privacy or long lazy days are what you are looking for, your hosts will respect this. However they would be delighted to arrange any kind of itinerary required to get the most out of your time in this traditional Spanish village.

Competa is ideally located for walking, horseriding, mountain biking, motocross, paragliding, scubadiving, painting holidays and of course just sitting in the sun enjoying the views!

Fiona is a local horse trekking guide and Dougie a qualified scuba diver so are often available to accompany those with unwilling partners!
Casa Azahara has two mountain bikes available for hire on a daily or weekly basis.

Advice is available on flights from the UK, car hire, public transport etc.
Airport collection and drop off can also be arranged for those who do not wish to hire a car.
